Well, I took over my new desk. It wasn't an easy task either.
I physically threw out the old occupant - with force. She didn't seem to understand that I was not going to share my space with her crap. I lugged her 5 boxes of junk to her new space and dropped them at her door. I let her deal with it.
My new cube mate? Well, she's lowered her so-called music so that the rest of us don't need to listen to her sing along to gospel. It was nice until she started singing along with her own version of R n' B.
I have noticed that her perfume smells a bit like bug spray, but I guess I'll have to learn to ignore that lovely fact.
After I had gotten into my assigned space, I overheard someone mentioning what a bitch I was. For a brief moment I felt bad about projecting such hostility. I mean, who wants to be thought of as a bitch?
Then I thought about how my morning went and realized that I wasn't being a bitch. I was standing up for myself and I was verbal about it. I wasn't going to take anyones shit, wasn't going to kiss someone's ass. I was taking care of my business.
So, if I'm considered a bitch for being true to myself, so be it.
I'm a bitch, hear me roar.
